Hello Bernice,

Thank you for contacting NoPayTenants.com and we would like to share your Inquiries and our Responses with the entire website community:

I: How long does it take for your deadbeat to show up on the list?

R: The home page scrolling screen is updated when new records are added to the database and can take a few seconds or a few hours depending on user volume. It's impossible to show everyone's record on the scrolling screen in any given time period due to the size of the database.

I: It would be helpful at your home page to show the state this person is residing. I see names with street address, but can't tell what state they are in. This is under your recently added tenants.

R: The best way to use NoPayTenants.com is to tell tenants or rental property owners to search the website by first name initial and full last name. The home page scroll screen is only a snapshot of a much larger database, which is best accessed by the search features of the website.

I: A name I saw on here looks very familiar but when I clicked on the record there was no further information about the person.

R: When you use the search features and find a name of interest, click on the tenant name link to display the full database record. At the top of the database record, click on Rental Property Owner Inquiry and send a message to the rental property owner who posted the information to the database. The NoPayTenants.com message system is a private communications channel between you and the database record owner and should be used to acquire more information on tenant names that look familiar to you.

I: I'm at risk of losing my home because of a deadbeat tenant whom I have come to find out owes $8,000 in back utility bills from 2003.

R: We are sorry to learn that you may lose your home because of an irresponsible tenant. In some states, unpaid utility bills do become liens against the rental property and you should consult an attorney ASAP. With that said, it's important that all rental property owners use NoPayTenants.com to alert others of irresponsible tenants and the consequences of renting real estate to tenants with poor rental histories.

I: There are probably a lot of landlords who will rent to these people without checking them out. How do we reach out to these individuals?

R: Unfortunately, a lot of landlords do not know about NoPayTenants.com or the power the website provides for collecting unpaid rent and other money owed rental property owners. Rental property owners tell us of their success after posting to the website when the tenant finds out about being exposed to the world on the Internet. Tenants are quickly learning that NoPayTenants.com levels the playing field in the rental property business and the bad tenants can no longer hide from their rental obligations.

I: How do we get the word out about NoPayTenants.com?

R: NoPayTenants.com has been growing exponentially since first being launched. Based on our most recent user satisfaction survey, 99% of rental property owners using the website are telling other rental property owners. Word of mouth, email telling friends, blogs and posting to websites like Craiglist Rants & Raves have been reported as the most frequently used methods for getting the word out about the website.

Again, thank you for your interest in NoPayTenants.com!
